The scarring incident on the evening of Feb 9, 2013 left the victim traumatised, with her having an "adjustment reaction" to her ordeal, according to the Institute of Mental Health.
The alleged rapist appeared in court yesterday to plead guilty to two counts of rape, one count each of outraging a woman's modesty and sexually penetrating her without consent. The New Paper reports that 30-year-old Lim Choon Beng had initially claimed trial to his charges, claiming that he could not remember his actions.
