Bali Ngurah Rai Airport’s Customs and Excise Officers arrested a Singaporean national on Tuesday after they found drugs in his luggage.
Officials announced that Mohammad Noh Bin Abdul Salam, 33, was caught carrying sheets of LSD, along with 10 ecstasy pills, according to Merdeka.
“The perpetrator was hiding drugs in his bag,” Head of Airport Customs Budi Harjanto said in Kuta on Wednesday.
Salam was arrested shortly after arriving in Bali on AirAsia AK 376 from KL.
The Singaporean had been waiting to take his bag when officers apprehended him—the bag had apparently already been searched and sniffed out by a K-9 unit.
The drugs were hidden in a bag of toiletries, reports said.
