It's a battle of wits, as Singaporean and Malaysian stand-up comedians circle one another on the stage of Laugh Die You — The Karaoke. Originally debuting in Malaysia, the popular show combines music, dance and comedy for a fascinating performance.
Familiar faces to watch out for include Kumar and Gurmit Singh, whose new persona is Hero Singh, an upright, law-abiding Punjabi security guard who's a mix of eccentric and flamboyant. There's also Joanne Kam repping our neighbours across the Causeway — she'll be taking on Kumar to see who elicits the most laughs, while Singh moderates (and occasionally bursts into song).
