The 32-year-old victim had been eating alone at a hawker centre located at Jurong Gateway Road when a 48-year-old man grabbed her bag and fleed.
She gave chase and shouted for help.
Her cries alerted three men, who managed to capture the 'runaway' and recover the bag.
