Changi Airport tops yet another list — this time, it's been named Asia's most popular airport for 'self-connect' travellers who create their own itinerary for connecting flights.
According to a report by travel search engine Skyscanner, based on data collected from its 50 million monthly users, our airport took the number one spot for people travelling to Asia when they booked two separate connecting tickets to save money or plan a stopover in the country.
Next on the regional list is Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, followed by Hong Kong International Airport. In the Americas, the Los Angeles International Airport clinched first place, while in Europe, Dublin Airport took the honour.
