Splashes of vibrant colours feature at Lisa Smirnova's My Embroidered Life exhibition, where 'painted' pieces come together with needle and thread. It's the first show in Singapore for the Russian illustrator and artist, who's known for weaving enchanting narratives with her intricate stitches. To celebrate this occasion, she will display six brand new pieces at K+, alongside her previous works.
Head over to the gallery at Scotts Square to see the rough-hewn hand embroidery for yourself. And if you stop by tonight at 7pm, Lisa herself will be there for a short demonstration on the process of her creations.
