Singapore levels up yet again in their aim to be an aerospace hub with the launch of a new 9,250 sqm training centre at Seletar Aerospace Park.
The $135 million facility is a joint venture between European aircraft manufacturer Airbus and Singapore Airlines (SIA), and is set to become the largest Airbus flight crew training centre in the world. The facility houses eight full-flight simulators and is expected to offer courses for up to 10,000 flight crew trainees per year.
Already, 17 airline across the region have already chosen the centre for their flight training, including the likes of Qatar Airways, Qantas, China Airlines, Japan Airlines and of course SIA.
