Heart of the Haze is the name of the documentary filmed at the peak of the 2015 Southeast Asian haze by Channel NewsAsia's Get Real team. As Indonesia experienced one of its worst cases of forest and plantation fires since 1997, the crew braved sky-high air pollution levels in Central Kalimantan to give a voice to people on the street affected by the haze, speaking to villagers, doctors, activists, research scientists, fire fighters and more.
