Boutique internet service provider ViewQwest is doing a boutique fix-up over connection issues that they say will take a week before services resume normally.
According to them, some customers under their Ang Mo Kio Exchange circuit have been experiencing problems connecting to the internet since last Thursday morning due to a hardware component failure in their equipment.
Even though a manual migration of all affected connections was carried out, stability was compromised and they've decided to migrate all customers onto entirely new set of equipment.
"As this is a new set of equipment, we will need to replace the ONT/modem of all affected customers and will be arranging on-site visits," they wrote in a Facebook post. "We expect all replacements to be completed by the end of this week."
