Last month, a 28-year-old woman was found dead in a flat along Circuit road— the body was found on a bed by the unit's landlord after his tenant said that he was going on a work trip in Malaysia.
The police confirmed today that they've arrested the suspect involved in the alleged murder. A 47-year-old man was arrested in Malaysia on Monday with assistance from the Royal Malaysia Police and was handed over to Singaporean authorities yesterday evening.
According to the police, he will be charged in court tomorrow for the offence of murder — which carries the death penalty should he be found guilty.
