Last month, 39 cats were rescued from a home in Yishun, where 63-year-old Roslani Ahmad had been hoarding them since 2000. Two cats have since died — one shortly after being saved and the other put to sleep — according to the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore. Roslani may be charged for mistreating the animals.
The road to recovery has been a bumpy one for the felines, reports Channel NewsAsia. They were all found malnourished and in poor health, having been squeezed into cages covered in poop and cockroaches for so long.
