Come May 9, Singapore Airlines (SIA) will take flight with the first long-haul flight of their newly acquired Airbus fleet to the city of Amsterdam.
Their A350 will serve SIA's daily flights to and fro Amsterdam before the launch of future services to Dusseldorf in July. SIA will be needing a lot of folks manning their new fleet of 67 A350-900s on firm order — thus their aggressive expansion of cabin crews.
Seven of the aircrafts ordered will be ultra-long-range variants, which will be delivered in 2018, SIA says. They'll be used for the long-anticipated non-stop services from Singapore to the United States.
