Apparently, our yellow-beaked black-feathered friends have been such a nuisance to the municipalities of Yishun and Clementi that the Agri-Food an Veterinary Authority (AVA) are employing drastic measures.
Residents in Yishun have been complaining to the authorities about the vexing noise produced by the mynah population, Channel NewsAsia reports. Presumably, complaints continue to come in hot and heavy, as past efforts by AVA and Nee Soon Town Council haven't done enough — namely pruning trees and limiting food sources.
