
Last November, we went gaga when McDonald's started selling truffle fries — which turned out to be, sigh, just your ordinary French fries served with a sachet of truffle powder. We're hoping that the product they launched today makes up for last year's disappointment.
The fancy-sounding Breaded Salmon with Paella Spice Mix burger (BSPSM burger sounds cooler) has a patty made of wild salmon chunks from Hokkaido flavoured with diced red and yellow capsicums and diced cheese. It's served in a bun topped topped with oat flakes, linseeds, rye flakes and sunflower seeds. Sounds good so far?
