A recent survey has revealed that 61%, or six in 10 couples in Singapore remain married despite experiencing infidelity.
The online survey conducted by TOUCH Family Services between July 2012 and early 2013, covered a sample size of 164 people.
Although the survey didn't address specific reasons for the couples to remain being married, it suggested plausible ones like preventing the children from growing up in a broken family environment, forgiving the guilty spouse, and financial dependency.
