Nikon Singapore dun goofed in the weekend saga concerning fibbing photographer Chay Yu Wei and his clearly photoshopped contest-winning entry.
With a barrage of memes, gifs, additional photoshopped images and endless criticism that must have torn Nikon and Yu Wei new holes, both parties have spoken up concerning the issue.
For Nikon Singapore, the extreme fuck-up (that really tarnished their brand) prompted them to issue not one, not two, but three whole explanatory posts on their Facebook page. Damage control it may be, but it's looking more like the controversy might have wrought a tremendous amount of devastation to the brand's reputation.
