The man who was accused of throwing a cat off a HDB block in Yishun has been granted bail of $10,000 today, which will be posted so that he can spend Chinese New Year with his family.
According to Lee Wai Leong's lawyer, it seems likely that the suspect's father will be posting the bail, Channel NewsAsia reports. Lee had expressed through his lawyer the intent to request for bail in the hopes of spending Chinese New Year at home.
