The alleged cat killer of Yishun appeared in court today armed with a lawyer (appointed by Law Minister K Shanmugam no less) and was ordered to stay in remand at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) for another week.
Channel NewsAsia reports that 40-year-old Lee Wai Leong has also expressed through his lawyer the intent to request for bail at the next court hearing on Jan 19 in the hopes to spend Chinese New year at home.
