A particularly hot-headed school bus attendant who thought nothing of hitting children has been fined $1,000 yesterday. Also, she should probably think of a different career line. 46-year-old Leong Siew Yin pleaded guilty to hurting a Primary 4 pupil while she was in school in Jan last year. She slapped the defenceless nine-year-old girl four times on her cheeks, The Straits Times reports.
Two days before the incident, Leong received complaints from teachers about her daughter, who was in the same school. Apparently, her daughter had disturbed and scolded the victim.
