Singapore's coterie of politicians have long been accused of not being on the ground enough — lacking presence and perception among the people.Where folks usually have to actively seek out their district's Member of Parliament (MP) to voice their concerns, Nee Soon GRC MP Louis Ng however turned it on its head. He became a GrabTaxi driver for a day to understand what its like to ferry customers as well as getting to know his constituents personally. Also, it's a Christmas fundraiser. Multi-tasking indeed.
