HighwayA Singaporean man has appeared in the Dunedin District Court in New Zealand today to face the music over causing a four-vehicle collision that killed a motorcyclist last month.

Four charges were slapped on 29-year-old Lew Wei Kiong, including one count of dangerous driving causing death and three counts of dangerous driving causing injury, Stuff.co.nz reports.

Lew had been driving a rental car on the state highway near the town of Herbert in North Otago in New Zealand's South island, with his female colleague as his passenger. In an alleged attempt to overtake a group of cars, he crossed the double yellow lines and crashed into two cars and a motorcycle that were travelling from the opposite direction.
