The former lead contract specialist for the United States Navy has been accused of accepting bribes, in the form of luxury hotel stays and cash, from a military contractor in exchange for classified information.
In Nov 2006, she allegedly enjoyed a five-night stay at the Ritz-Carlton Bali. A year later, seven nights at Sheraton Jumeriah Beach Dubai and three nights at Ritz-Carlton Dubai. In 2011, three-nights at Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta and a week at St Regis Bali.
Kaur, we can fairly deduce, has got expensive taste and, if proven guilty, a fair amount of greed running through her veins. She was charged in court yesterday and is currently out on $50,000 bail. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for Jan 14.
