FacebookWhat a time to be alive if you're a Facebook employee and a new dad in Singapore.  Facebook's head of human resources and recruiting Lori Matloff Goler announced in a Facebook post (obviously) that the company's parental leave policy has been extended for all full time employees. Both moms and dads will be getting four months of paid baby leave, "no matter their gender or where in the world they live".  Eligible mums in Singapore right now are entitled to either 16 weeks of Government-Paid Maternity Leave or 12 weeks of maternity leave, but dads don't get the same treatment. With the announcement, new fathers and people in same-sex relationships in Singapore will also get to enjoy that sweet baby leave to bond with their newborns. "Our approach to benefits at Facebook is to support our employees and the people who matter most to them," wrote Goler. "We want to be there for our people at all stages of life, and in particular we strive to be a leading place to work for families." All new parents in Facebook offices worldwide — including those who had or adopted a baby in 2015 — will be eligible, and the system will kick in on Jan 1 next year.
