Motorcyclist Jackson Sim was paying for his parking fee at the Electronic Parking System (EPS) gantry in Toa Payoh Central on Tuesday night when a lorry bulldozed him from behind.
The lorry, which was carrying a full load of liquefied petroleum cooking gas tanks, crashed into the helpless motorcyclist, ran over his leg and plowed through the gantry.

Reportedly, the lorry driver has since been arrested, while Sim suffered a broken leg. It seem's like he's doing well, judging from his comment on Facebook expressing his gratitude from all the well wishers.
It's cases like this that make some carpark gantries give up on their thankless jobs.
