The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore has recalled a batch of Highway Pork Luncheon Meat where a fragment of a hypodermic needle had been detected. The production date of the affected batch is May 28, 2014. The expiry date is May 27, 2017.
The whole batch was pulled down from shelves immediately after the object was discovered.
Those who have this product in their pantry are advised to discard it immediately. Unless, of course, you're feeling a little adventurous.
