MillennialMillennials everywhere around the world can be easily spotted — smartphones are permanently attached to their palms, their gazes magnetised to backlit screens and their attention spans last less than a minute.  A study conducted by global research consultancy TNS however has proved that millennials in the Asia Pacific region are indeed connected to their little pocket computers — an average of 2.8 hours spent a day.  Singapore's millennials (anyone aged between 16 to 30) were found to be spending 3.4 hours per day — or an average of one day a week — glued to their smartphones. Much like another survey, it seems that Thais are more addicted to going online, as their millennials are spending an average of 4.2 hours a day on their phones.  Even China and Malaysia were ranked above Singapore, with millennials spending 3.9 hours a day and 3.8 hours a day respectively.  TNS's Connected Life study collated the digital attitudes and behaviours of 60,500 internet users across 50 countries to help marketers connect with consumers better.
