A young Filipino man has been sent to jail on Wednesday for his boldly deviant actions of pretending to collect donations for charity (actually for himself) as well as molesting a 16-year-old girl while at it.  20-year-old Neil Christian Alejandro Casiano arrived in Singapore on a social visit pass on Oct 27, claiming to be collecting money for Philippines-based NGO Childhope Asia, The Straits Times reports.  To cement his story, he printed two donor cards, two donor lists and a volunteer identification card with his name and photograph on Nov 8.  The next day, he went to Orchard Road to collect donations from passers-by. That night, he stopped a 16-year-old girl outside Ngee Ann City to ask for money to help needy children.  When he asked her to donate $10, she declined. Neil then started to preach to her about religion. Presumably to stop him from harassing her further, the girl gave $2 and was asked to write her name and sign on the donor list.  Neil then asked to take a selfie together using her mobile phone — and suddenly hugged her from the side and brought his face alarmingly close to hers.  She pushed him aside and left the area, telling her mother about the incident later on. A police report was lodged and Neil was arrested outside Ngee Ann City the very same day.  In court, Neil pleaded guilty to a charge of cheating and a count of outrage of modesty, admitting to holding the girl's hands and kissing her right hand. He also collected $70 in donations, which were meant for his personal use. He was given a two-week sentence in prison. Photo: Don DeBold via Flickr
