Honda StreamYet another car has been reported stolen across the borders up north in the latest case of theft involving Singapore-registered vehicles.  Just like previous occasions, the car simply vanished from where it was parked in less than an hour's duration. Speaking to The Straits Times, 48-year-old engineer Arunachalam Sathiamoorthy recounted about the incident, in which his Honda Stream seven-seater was stolen from the car park of Perling Mall last Saturday.  He had been on the way back to Singapore after a family trip at Desaru when he lost his way and decided to get a quick bite at the mall. Less than an hour later, the whole car was gone along with two cash cards, an iPhone 6 Plus and two suitcases containing the family's clothes.  To add salt to his freshly gaping wound, one of the three credit cards left in the vehicle was used by the thief a couple of hours later.  Of course, Arunachalam's case could be well-related to the one that took place outside Tebrau City in Johor Bahru. The whole thing was caught on tape when fellow Singaporean Nolan Khoo's Honda Civic got unlocked (by some sort of master key and remote) and was driven away in 10 seconds.  It is not known if Nicolas Cage had anything to do with the series of thefts.  Photo: Conny Sandland via Flickr
