We're sure these guys mean well.
The Media Development Authority has asked Google to remove some movie titles from its online store in Singapore, acording to The Straits Times.
Among those removed — as diligently fact-checked by ST — were Fifty Shades of Grey, Gone Girl and Trainspotting.
These titles have been shown in Singapore cinemas, but with a rating restricting the audience to either 16 or 18 years old and above.
It's not the first time an online store has had to comply with MDA regulations.
According to the same report, back in 2012 when Apple started selling movies on iTunes, it also carried R21 titles like The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo."The titles were removed a day after The Straits Times ran a report on it."
Erm, thanks?
