That's exactly what happened to a male jogger who found a decomposed body one early evening in a forested area along Republic Avenue near Kallang River.
Police took two hours to cut the tree and retrieve the body of a man in his 30s, which was said to have been dead for at least five days, reports The Straits Times.
Authorities are investigating the case.
