ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands is offering free admission to all Singapore residents from Aug 5-7.
Don't miss "DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition", which showcases 31 films and more than 400 unique objects from the studio's archive.
There are also interviews with the studio's who reveal the creative processes that went into the crowd-pleasers like Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and Puss in Boots. Organised by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Singapore is the first stop in a five-year international tour.
If you're feeling patriotic — it is SG50, after all — "Singapore STories: Then, Now, Tomorrow" mines the 170-year-old archives of The Straits Times for articles, headlines and photographs, including never-before-seen pictures, to tell the familiar story of Singapore in a fresh way.
Free entry to ArtScience Museum is valid from Aug 7-9 from 10am-7pm. Last admission is at 6pm.
