If you love your saccharine-sweet carbonated soft drinks as much you might love mild diabetes, gather round this August for the first ever Coke Collectors Fair in Singapore.
2015 may be the 65th anniversary of Singapore's independence, but it's the 100th birthday of the Coca-Cola's iconic contour glass bottle. 40 coke collectors from all around the South East Asian region will be exhibiting their lovingly collated personal collections of bottles, cans and other memorabilia at the Level 3 Atrium of Raffles City Mall on Aug 1.
No-one is as thrilled for the event than Kannie Yeo, President of the Singapore Coke Collectors Club and 2015 Collectors Fair Committee member. "We are really excited to be able to show off our collections at the first-ever home-grown Coke Collectors Fair, shared Yeo. "In fact, this is the most exciting year we've ever had in our four-year history as a Club. Personalised cans, SG50 aluminium bottles, cans and bottles with Singlish phrases, limited edition Hari Ray and National Day packs... 2015 has been a great year for Coke Collectors in Singapore!"
Aside from their personal collections, attendees can also check out a series of special Coca-Cola heritage exhibits shipped all the way from the official archives in its homewon Atlanta, Georgia in the United States.
