If you're wondering where Gillman Barracks' monthly showcase Art After Dark has gone to this month, fret not — they'll be having an open house tomorrow for a whole day of creative exhibitions in Art Day Out!
From 11am to 8pm tomorrow, visitors will have more time to be out and about amongst the venues' numerous galleries to check out their new shows and special programmes.
Get involved in Southeast Asia's flagship art fair Art Stage Singapore to take part in Catharsis, a performance art piece by Indonesian artist Syagini Ratna Wulan and literally throw plates on the floor. Prominent local artist Bani Haykal's project will have you borrow bikes equipped with sonic recording devices to journey around the historic Gillman Barracks as well.
Get thee hence to an artistic night market in Pasar Malan, featuring a festival craft market, gourmet burgers and craft beers, accompanied by electronic tunes by the Darker than Wax collective from 4pm onwards.
