No matter how much wealth you've amassed, you can't escape from the cold clutches of death. A Singaporean man died instantly when he crashed his Porsche into a road divider along the Malaysia's Second Link Highway and plunged into a ravine yesterday afternoon.
The Star reports that 55-year-old See Lam Huat lost control of his vehicle while heading towards Senai, and rammed the sports car into the divider on his left. According to the Malaysian authorities, initial investigations revealed that the driver was most likely to be at fault as road and weather conditions were excellent. The report did not specify what model or make the Porsche was.
See died on the spot while his front passenger escaped with only minor injuries to her legs. The 31-year-old woman has since been sent to Hospital Sultanah Aminah for treatment.
The incident was classified as a case of reckless driving.
