Another long weekend arrives, so go nuts once again at the historic Tanjong Pagar Railway Station, which opens its doors every public holiday.
Members of the public are more than welcome to visit the national monument off Keppel Road tomorrow on Hari Raya Puasa from 9am to 6pm, if you're not too busy gorging on ketupat, rendang or glorious squid-on-sticks.
According to the Singapore Land Authority, close to 16,000 people have dropped by Tanjong Pagar Railway station since its first opening in February this year. All railway operations for the Keratapi Tanah Melayu service to Malaysia ceased on July 2011, months after it was gazetted as a national monument.
