You'd think that maybe Minister for Law K Shanmugam would be taking the side of the crotchety caucasian who caused a scene on the MRT (over someone wearing a T-shirt that said 'I'm Fucking Special') out of a sense of old-school values — but even he is having none of that shit.
In a Facebook post yesterday, the politician weighed in on that viral video and slammed the cranky old man hard, terming it an "unacceptable bullying conduct" and even going to lengths such as calling his likes "sick in their mind". Harsh, but righteous, brah.
According to the person behind the lens, Nabilah Nasser, the aftermath of that incident simply saw police officers calming down the caucasian man with nothing else done. Elfy, the hero of the incident who stepped up and went on a verbal mano a mano with the nasty man, also had some harsh words to say about the policemen's actions.
Minister Shanmugam however wants to see some swift justice dealt onto the elderly bully. "I hope his employer will take some action, against him – he brings his organisation into disrepute."
The strapping Elfy gets some love too from the minister, who appreciated his comments about multiracialism and respect with one another.
As for the cranky caucasian, it looks like the hounds are on the hunt for his identity with netizens keeping an eye out for him.
