As the country turns 50 this year, the beloved arts venue The Substation turns half that age — but they're still having a grand celebration nonetheless in their annual Septfest.
As usual, local artists are placed firmly front and centre throughout the month-long showcase. A slew of multidisciplinary arts events are already planned for the festival, including an audio tour and a historical exhibition about The Substation, a film festival featuring the works of Asian auteurs, as well as a live music performances by some of the best independent talents across the country.
Tickets are already on sale on the official Septfest 2015 website, and there'll be even more events set to be announced soon.
