Robots, robots and more robots! If you prefer robots over humans, you won't go wrong at Changi Airport's Terminal 4.  As we reported last year, self check-in kiosks and automated bag drops promise to give passengers a fast and seamless experience (and less human contact). A media statement released today also pointed out a Changi first — a facial recognition technology that will eliminate the need for manual identity verification by staff. Or eliminate the need for staff, period. Take that, MOM! So far, six airlines have confirmed that they will be using T4 when it opens on the second half of 2017: Cathay Pacific, AirAsia Berhad, Indonesia AirAsia, Thai AirAsia, Korean Air and Vietnam Airlines. The 195,000sqm terminal will have 17,000sqm of retail and dining space for more than 80 outlets. T4's Departure Transit Hall will feature facades of old Peranakan shop houses, providing a glimpse of Singapore’s unique cultural heritage.    Done reading? Sit back, relax and watch Coconuts TV:
