Today, you will learn that the Christian community in Singapore has enough finances to book the whole National Stadium to hold their own private SG50 celebrations.
51,000 Christians across all denominations gathered at the stadium yesterday for the Jubilee Day of Prayer (they even had their own hashtag #JDOP) for the religious mega-event held in celebration of Singapore's 50th year of independence. If the volume of people weren't grand enough, the event had the likes of President Tony Tan and his wife, Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong gracing the event.
PM Lee received an overwhelming wave of prayers even — all 51,000 of the attendees sang a prayer to bless the prime minister.

The event also collected contributions which organisers National Council of Churches in Singapore and the Evangelical Fellowship of Singapore will be donating to those in need, "regardless of race, religion and language", so that's nice.
