Not again.
Some people's Happy Friday mindset got off to a bad start this morning as the train service along the North South Line was delayed due to a track fault, according to SMRT.
As of 8:50am, SMRT announced that passengers should factor in 25 more minutes to their travelling time from Choa Chua Kang to Admiralty towards Marina Bay. Free bus service has also been provided from Yew Tee to Toa Payoh.
As is usual, Twitter had to bear the brunt of people's anger.
Chin up, peeps.
UPDATES:
– As of 9:20am, MyTransport SG app says track fault has been rectified, and free bus service between Yew Tee and Toa Payoh stations are still ongoing.
– As of 9:25am, SMRT Corporation confirmed on Twitter that train services from Choa Chua Kang towards Admiralty are running normally.
