Family of Sabah quake victim receives heartfelt letter from Tottenham Hotspur

Hotspur stadiumPremier League team Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has penned a letter to the family of Sonia Jhala, a Tanjong Katong Primary School (TKPS) student who was killed on Mount Kinabalu when an earthquake struck on June 5. A photo of the letter was posted on Tuesday to a Facebook community page named after the 12-year-old girl, who was an avid Spurs fan, Channel NewsAsia reports. "It is with great sadness that we have heard the news of the loss of Sonia Jhala," read the letter, signed off by head coach Mauricio Pochettino. More than 1,500 people attended Sonia’s funeral service on Jun 10, with many donning Spurs jerseys or the club’s colours of blue and white in her memory.
