Even as we can't help but imagine undergrads cutting classes and hanging out at the café to binge on Swedish meatballs and cheap hotdogs, we laud this three-year partnership, which is in line with the government's SkillsFuture programme.
According to a Channel NewsAsia report, the furniture store's learning and development team will be conducting classroom lectures and in-store lessons for sophomores, while third-year students will be assigned a real-time business challenge that involves spending four months working on a campaign for the new IKEA METOD Kitchens.
Considering how it can sometimes be a challenge to find an Ikea crew to help you in store, we're hoping this ultimately leads to better customer service.
