Sorry dog lovers, you'll have to bear yet more bad news of wicked people casting aside their canines for dead. An abandoned golden retriever that was found in Sengkang two weeks ago has died.
The sickly golden retriever was found at the lift lobby on the 13th floor of Blk 334B along Anchorvale Crescent, lacking all of its breed's typically rich, shaggy fur and probably wracked with a multitude of ailments that left it agonisingly skeletal and lacking control of all bowel movements.
According to the post on the Sg Dogslover community Facebook page, the dog was found on Jun 9 lying in its own poop and was promptly brought to the vet. Sadly, the dog — named Anchor now — recently succumbed after two weeks in care, and a goodbye note was even written in its memory. Though honestly it reads more like a suicide note.

Tragic it may be, but bizarrely enough netizens have taken to anthropomorphising Anchor and leaving passionate eulogies for the poor canine in the comments section.
One of the people who found Anchor, Huiping Gillin, has already lodged a police report over the appalling incident.
