We're glad to report that despite galleries at Gillman Barracks closing left and right — it's Space Cottonseed's last day on Jun 28, aaawwww — there are others popping up, like, literally.
Just for a day, The Artling is hosting a pop-up gallery and all-day open house, held in conjunction with Walkabout Singapore.
The Artling is both an arts-guide website and an art broker. They also supply content for our Artwork of the Week column here at Coconuts Singapore.
"We will have artworks from our partner galleries on display, and our team will be available to answer any of your burning art questions and to share more about what we do," say the organizers on their FB event page.
Apart from the artworks on display, however, you must pop by for the light refreshments from noon to 2pm, and the booze from 5pm. We are so going to be there. Happy Friday!
