Apparently it's not just Scoot dealing with problematic flights.
Channel NewsAsia reports that Jetstar's Flight 3K824, from Shantou to Singapore, had been delayed for two days due to a mechanical failure. "A caller to the MediaCorp news hotline, Mr Goh, said the passengers were put on another Jetstar flight on Tuesday afternoon. However, a second delay happened and the flight did not take off," according to the report.
Speaking to CNA yesterday, Jetstar claimed that all passengers were being "re-accommodated" to other flights.
Budget airlines should really start awarding flyer miles for every second of delay.
