Tools of the Trade: Trio arrested after police uncovered their potential chalet slaughterhouseA chainsaw, a meat mincer, a couple of kitchen knives, a power tool set, plastic sheets, trolley bags, aprons, plastic sheets, cable ties, rubber boots, a gas cooker and a gas cylinder tank. Just the tools of the trade for a bloodthirsty trio who have since been arrested and charged in court today. Setting up their base of operations at a chalet at Aloha Changi, two Myanmar nationals and a permanent resident were allegedly plotting to kill — and probably cut into tiny little pieces — Singapore permanent resident Aye Maung Maung Thet, Channel NewAsia reports.  Fortunately, their gruesome plans were foiled when they were reported to the police last Sunday, when the 28-year-old Maung reported to the police that he had been assaulted by two unknown men at a multi-storey carpark in Pasir Ris. The two assailants had fled with another unknown man when the victim's cries for help attracted the attention of passers-by.  Officers from Bedok Police division then carried out immediate investigations and established the identities of the suspects, nabbing the first suspect in the vicinity of Balestier Road on Monday afternoon.  Further investigations revealed that his two accomplices were holed up at a chalet in Aloha Changi, and the police nabbed them as well that night. It was in the chalet that they found all the potential tools they presumably would have used for their human slaughterhouse.  In court, Myanmar nationals 32-year-old Yae Wynnt Oaung, 31-year-old Phyo Min Naing and permanent resident 37-year-old Zaw Min Hlaing have been charged with one count each of abetment by conspiracy to commit murder.  The fourth accomplice, Win Kyaw Kyaw Aung aka Aung Aung, also played a part in the murderous intent, and is still at large. According to the police, he left Singapore on Monday morning.  Photo: Singapore Police Force Facebook page   Done reading? Sit back, relax and watch Coconuts TV:  brightcove.createExperiences();
