Orchard Road may be the go-to place for the newest Western brands, but if you're hankering for something more traditional and Asian, there's the newly opened medical centre of Raffles Medical Group at Shaw Centre.
For the first time, the group is offering Traditional Chinese Medicine outside its Bugis hospital.
There's tui na ($38 for 30 minutes), a form of hard-core massage that's combined with other Chinese therapy techniques, acupuncture and even cupping.
The two-storey S$4-million establishment also offers other specialist services and health-screening programmes. Another Raffles outlet will open in Holland Village by early next year.
