With the upcoming high-speed rail, Singapore is really looking to speed things up everywhere.
Both Singapore and Australia have markets that are the most mature in the region, reports Today.
Thailand placed third with 2.5mbps average and 20mbps fastest.
A further boost in speed is expected throughout 2015 with the ongoing introduction of LTE carrier aggregation by Singapore operators and the increasing availability of devices that support the standard, says the report.
