Singapore's drug dealers now offering narcotics through text messagesMany have been incessantly irritated by the random text messages received by unknown numbers, promoting stuff like tuition teachers, property deals and the occasional 'YOU WIN CASH JACKPOT'.  Now we can probably add offers of illegal drugs to the list of annoying text messages.  The SMS would offer narcotics such as ecstasy, LSD, heroin, cocaine, meth, ketamine, cannabis and more, inviting text receivers to call or Whatsapp the number, according to one such message seen by TODAY. The Central Narcotics Bureau, in their infinite efficiency, are well aware of the new practice among drug dealers and are currently looking into the matter.  Youth counsellors speaking to the paper noted that such easy accessibility to narcotics could tempt young'uns to try drugs out of curiosity, especially since they spend a lot of time on their phones and social media.  Traditionally, you'd have to sniff out dealers in real life through connections from acquaintances, and slowly gain their trust before making purchases.  Photo: Blind Nomad via Flickr
