With just two more days to the opening ceremony of the 28th Southeast Asian Games 2015 here, the celebratory buzz has kicked off proper at the Singapore Sports Hub in the SEA Games Carnival, featuring a vast array of activities.
The highlight however has to be free hot air balloon rides, which is probably the only reason you'd want to drop by the carnival, should you care absolutely zilch about the SEA Games.
The complimentary rides are now open to public till June 16 from 8-10pm or 5-8pm daily. There won't be any rides on during the opening and closing ceremonies of the SEA Games though.
A warning before you bring your kids along to queue up for the ride through; you have to be at least 18 years old and 1.4 metres tall to get on the balloon. The 10-minute hot air balloon jaunt is free so long as you sign up for something first at the UnionPay booth on-site, because they're the ones paying for your ride.
More details on the carnival available on their website.
